Dubai may be known for its world-class architecture, luxury shopping, and overall lavish lifestyle, but there are still plenty of public spaces that you can enjoy for free (or for a few dirhams). Whether you want to stroll through beautifully crafted gardens, go for a run, play a sport, or have a picnic with friends and family – you can do all this and more in Dubai’s parks. Dubai park hours

Dubai’s major public parks including Al Mamzar Beach Park, Mushrif Park, Creek Park, Zabeel Park, and Safa Park have the following hours: 

  • Monday-Thursday 8am-10pm 

  • Friday-Sunday (and official public holidays) 8am-11pm

Dubai’s residential parks and squares, such as pond parks, have the following hours: 

  • Monday-Friday 8am-11pm

  • Saturday and Sunday 8am-11:30pm 

  • Public holidays 8am-12am

Some parks have separate hours where it is only open for ladies and children, including boys up to a certain age. Some parks that have ladies and children only days include: 

  • Al Mamzar Park - Mondays and Wednesdays, boys up to 6 years old

  • Al Barsha 2 Park - Thursdays 

  • Al Nakheel Park - Tuesdays, boys up to 10 years old 

Tips for visiting Dubai’s public parks 

Many of the parks listed below are run by the Dubai Municipality. You can reach the Dubai Municipality to confirm park fees and hours at 800-900. 

Here are some helpful tips for those visiting Dubai’s public parks: 

  • Children 2 years old or younger and people of determination have free entry to all public parks. 

  • Pets aren’t allowed in parks unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Most public parks in Dubai are designed to be accessible to people of determination. 

  • Park hours and prices may vary during Ramadan.

  • Camping is not allowed in parks.

  • You can pay park entry fees using your RTA nol card. 

  • You can apply online for an individual or group visit to the Dubai Frame, Quranic Park, and Children’s City.  

Some parks in Dubai are built and owned by real estate developers and are either private parks for residents or open to the public (for free or for a fee).
